The hotel revives the timeless urban elegance of the mid-century with contemporary design elements. Originally constructed in the mid-1800s, the hotel’s building now becomes a landmark for the city’s comeback to prosperity.

The Architectural team, Alexandros Athanasiadis and Aeter Architects, deliberately revived the iconic Athens modernism of the mid-1800s and mid-1900s by keeping the straightforward exterior absolutely intact with just the addition of two bright contrasting colors, cobalt blue and blush pink, artfully underlying Blend’s playful character. On the contrary, the interior received a radical breezy Stockholm-meets-Soho update, re-celebrating Athens as a metropolis of style.

Each one of the 24 BLENDROOMS (Blend hotel’s rooms and suites with names like Happy Me, Oh So Cosy, Lovey Dovey, Luxe Together and Mr. President) is styled with open-minded luxury, fresh minimalistic elements and tailor-made design solutions resulting to an aesthetically exhilarating and at the same time comfy experience. All rooms offer a colorful city view while all of the suites (depending on the type and floor) offer a unique view of Mount Lycabettus, the Philopappos Hill, the Acropolis and the Parthenon. The large balconies on the top floors add up to the immersing experience, especially around magic hour with the city lights on. All rooms are non-smoking, soundproof, air-conditioned, pet-friendly, have complimentary WiFi and smart TV and offer room service and 24-hour concierge.
